Broocx.

Private holding company · Netherlands

Capital, allocatedwith conviction.

Acquiring, developing, and operating companies across real assets, healthcare technology, industrial services, and building products, with a ten-year horizon and board-level governance in every position.

About

A different kind of holding company.

Broocx builds and operates a portfolio spanning industrial real estate, healthcare technology, industrial services, building products, and residential development. Each position is built for control, with board-level governance, operational involvement, and capital deployed only where compounding is durable.

The portfolio is composed deliberately: real assets to anchor it, scalable businesses to compound it.

We invest with a ten-year minimum horizon, take board-level positions in every venture, and operate with the patience of an institution and the speed of a single, decisive owner.

Mandate

What we look for.

Broocx targets a narrow mandate, applied with consistency. We are not generalists. The criteria below define every acquisition and development we pursue.

Sectors

Where we operate

Industrial real estate and logistics development. Healthcare technology with regulatory approval (CE-marked or equivalent). Industrial services: production relocation, facility management, and cross-border logistics in Western Europe and CEE. Building products and residential development.

Geography

Where we invest

The Netherlands, Romania, and the broader Central and Eastern European corridor. We have operational infrastructure in both Western Europe and Romania, enabling us to move faster than most counterparts in cross-border transactions.

Structure

How we invest

Controlling or significant active positions. We do not take passive minority stakes. Every investment includes board representation and direct governance involvement. Proprietary capital only; no fund mandate, no LP cycle.

Company profile

What we back

From scalable early-stage ventures to established operating businesses. We back companies where our capital and operational involvement create compounding value: founders and teams building something durable, not businesses that simply need cash.

Horizon

How long we hold

Ten years minimum. We do not acquire to flip. We structure each investment for long-term compounding, which means we are patient through cycles, supportive through transitions, and disciplined about when (and whether) to exit.

What we avoid

Where we do not go

Sector-agnostic roll-up strategies. Highly leveraged structures with short hold periods. Businesses that require purely financial engineering rather than operational improvement. Opportunities where we cannot add value beyond capital.

Structure

How we are structured.

Broocx operates as a directly managed holding company, without a fund structure, external investors, or layered committee-based decision-making. This structure is a deliberate competitive advantage.

01

Proprietary capital

No external limited partners. No fund cycle. No mandate expiry. Broocx invests entirely from its own balance sheet, which means investment decisions are made on conviction, not on deployment pressure or LP reporting schedules.

02

Direct board representation

We hold a board seat in every investment we make. Governance is not delegated to advisors or passive directors. We participate in strategic decisions, approve capital allocation, and hold management accountable, in every portfolio company, from day one.

03

Centralized decisions

Decisive, centralized governance. No layered investment committee. When Broocx decides to act, execution is immediate. For founders and counterparties, this translates to shorter timelines, fewer conditions, and a single point of accountability throughout the process.

Philosophy

How we think.

  1. 01

    Long horizons beat short cycles.

  2. 02

Control and governance before capital deployment.

  3. 03

Real assets anchor the portfolio. Scalable businesses accelerate it.

  4. 04

    Asymmetric opportunity over average returns.

  5. 05

Operate with the discipline of an institution. Move with the speed of an individual.
